Took this picture when I went to San Jose early this year. I got to know how patient one needs to be for getting pictures of birds. This thing always flew away when I went close enough for a good view. Anyways, after a few tries I got this pic.
Good clean shot. Worth waiting for.

Quite similar to the Manuela posted a few days back. Very good exposure and nice colors.

Nice picture! I was at South Street Seaport in New York City, and the seagulls there aren't afraid of anything! I took pictures of one (you can see it with the link i provided) and I edged closer and closer until I was about 10 inches away, and it never bulged. It was only after I was done that it flew away.
